I consider myself a writer by trade, a communications strategist by choice and a media relations man out of self-defense.

I’ve worked with Chief Executive Officers and a Commander in Chief – literally.  In a career that began as a White House intern during the Clinton administration and that has included time in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and New York City, I’ve gained broad experience working with some of the most dynamic digital entertainment, technology and public affairs clients in the world including Warner Bros., the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), Toshiba and ESPN.

I’m from Pittsburgh.  This means I have little patience for pretense, I appreciate authenticity, I possess a world-class B.S. detector and I cheer passionately for anything in black & gold.  I play well with others.  I like getting to the point and getting the job done.

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Penn State with a B.A. in History, studied in a Masters screenwriting program at the University of Southern California and I’m pretty confident that I could beat you at Trivial Pursuit.
